Gold Hill Gardens is a hidden gem and one of my favorite venues.
Gold Hill Gardens looks like it was pulled from a magazine spread and dropped into the foothills. Oak trees, tall grass, beautiful architecture, and golden hour light that just make photos to easy. It’s amazing.
I’ve photographed a handful of weddings here, and each time it’s a different story. Quiet, weird, elegant, wild, it all works. It molds to your vibe.
If you’re planning your wedding here, I’ve got you. I know where the light hits, where to disappear for portraits, and when the moss on the stone really pops in the background of your photos.
This is one of those venues where I feel #blessed to photograph and I’m very proud to be on their list of preferred vendors.

Best Light: Golden hour in the open field near the cows and twisted oaks. In the gardens. Any of the Ceremony Sites. Literally anywhere.
Favorite Spot: It’s honestly hard to pick.
Photographer Insight: Soft directional light, plenty of shade options, tons of depth and texture for portraits. If in the summer, bring sunscreen and lots of water.
