A fear of heights and a very big view.
Sunny was quietly battling his fear of heights the whole time, standing at the edge as the sun rose over the cliffs. He did it anyway, and it made the morning even more special.

Glacier Point · Yosemite National Park, California
Taylor and Sunny’s sunrise Glacier Point wedding in Yosemite National Park felt cinematic from start to finish. They are an adventurous couple at heart, and they chose an intimate, elopement-style ceremony high above the valley.
We started with vows and portraits at Glacier Point, then headed down into the valley to rest and take in the view beneath El Capitan. The reception followed that evening in the park.
Doing things their own way.

The ceremony · Glacier Point
The ceremony was at sunrise on the edge of Glacier Point, with Half Dome right in front of them. It was a small, intimate ceremony high above the valley.

The groom · Sunny
Sunny was quietly battling his fear of heights the whole time, standing at the edge as the sun rose over the cliffs. He did it anyway, and it made the morning even more special.

The portraits · Sunrise
We took portraits right at Glacier Point as the light came up over the valley. After that we headed down into the valley to rest and take in the view beneath El Capitan.

The reception · Yosemite
The reception was that evening in the park, among the tall pines and string lights, with the people closest to them.

Their story began months earlier with a much warmer engagement session at Whale Beach in Lake Tahoe, which made this Yosemite sunrise wedding a full-circle moment for two people who love adventure, nature and doing things their own way.
