We walked the hills in the last couple hours of light. Tall golden grass, old oaks, a lot of lying around in the grass and a sunset that went on forever.

We started up high with the whole valley below us. Dry gold grass, rolling hills in every direction and the sun starting to drop.

Halfway through we just laid down in the grass. No posing, just the two of them talking and laughing with the light coming in sideways.

Walking the ridgeline.
Cronan Ranch is mostly open hills and big oaks, so we kept moving. Every few minutes the view changed and we stopped for a few more frames.

Then the sun went down.
We stayed until the sun hit the hills. Warm, low light and long shadows across the grass. Worth waiting for every single time.
